Australian Advertiser Association appoints new CEO
Date: 07/04/2009
The Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA) has appointed Scott McClellan as new CEO, following the retirement of Collin Segelov as Executive Director of the Association.
Scott has been Executive Director of the Association of Market and Social Research Organisations for the past three years, a period that included a successful review of the industry's Privacy Code and the establishment of workable calling standards for market research. He takes up the AANA role from 1st November 2009.
"In choosing Scott McClellan as our first-ever Chief Executive Officer, we have a person who combines a thorough understanding of the regulatory environment for marketing and advertising, a track-record as an effective communicator and issues manager, and a wealth of experience in association management," said AANA Chairman Ian Alwill.
WFA looks forward to working with Scott and continuing its close relationship with the AANA.
