WFA publishes 2008 Annual Report

As part of the Global Advertiser Week in Brazil, WFA has published its 2008 Annual Report which reviews its activities over the past 12 months.

The report looks at WFA's main work streams and showcases some of the initiatives that have taken center stage during 2008. The 44 page document features a summary of WFA Working Group activities undertaken on behalf of members, as well as a review of the major global media trends, as well as a region-by-region analysis on advertising spend in conjunction with economic data.

In his foreward, WFA President Bernhard Glock (Vice President Media Purchases, Procter & Gamble) sets out his vision for the year ahead, focusing on:

1. Harnessing and applying the insights from digital and interactive marketing specialists.
2. Champion integrated marketing communications in recognition of the consumer centric media landscape.
3. Leveraging the unique network of WFA members to deliver global marketing insights during challenging times.
