Global Effie Awards: Call for entry

The Global Effie Awards were created in 2003 to honour marketing communications initiatives that have proven their effectiveness in multiple markets worldwide.  
 
Specifically, entries must be for a single brand idea running across at least four countries in two or more regions worldwide, between September 1, 2005 and October 30, 2008 in all countries submitted, and between September 1, 2007 and October 30, 2008 in at least one of the countries. All forms of consumer engagement are welcome; if you have insightful strategy, outstanding creative and the market results to prove it worked, enter it!

The 2009 Global Effie entry deadline to submit online and to the Effie office in NY is: January 28, 2009

The judging will take place in February and March on multiple continents.  The winners will be announced at the Effie Awards gala in NYC on June 3, 2009.  Global Effie winning teams receive two trophies, winners certificates and an invitation for one representative to judge at the following year's final round judging event. Winners have included adidas, Apple, Canon, Kellogg, MasterCard, Peugeot, and Vaseline.  All Global Effie winners can be viewed in the online Winners Showcase at www.effie.org/winners/showcase/category/43.
