WFA holds 7th Annual Latin America Regional Meeting in Rio de Janeiro

On 3-4th July, WFA held its 7th Annual Latin America Regional Meeting at the Windsor Excelsior in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The forum brought together experts from WFA's National Advertiser Associations in the region, as well as senior corporate members from companies with activities in the LATAM region.
Discussions were focused over four main areas:
1. Food advertising and obesity: Important current global, regional and local trends
2. Reinforcing effective advertising self-regulation: How to implement this further in the region
3. Role and value of advertising: Promoting the positive affects of responsible advertising
4. Major global media trends: Focusing on developments around agency remuneration and the WFA Blueprint.
