WFA President’s Awards to honour national industry associations making a difference to marketers and the wider industry during the pandemic

Launched in 2010, the annual WFA President’s Awards look to recognise association-led industry initiatives in different markets which have helped advance the marketer’s agenda and contributed to positive change in the industry and society.

National industry associations in WFA membership are invited to nominate innovative programmes and activities they have led/are leading that have made a real difference to their members and the marketing industry in 2020, against the backdrop of the pandemic.

National associations wishing to submit their entries should do so by March 26th 2021 by filling in the submission form.

These initiatives can cover areas related to organisational transformation, cross-industry collaboration, skills and talent development, media transparency, self-regulation, responsibility and ethics in advertising, gender equality and diversity, sustainability, Covid-related efforts and so on.

Nominate your initiative

Submissions will be evaluated by the WFA Executive Committee. The winners will be selected by WFA President and Mastercard CMO Raja Rajamannar and honoured during the National Associations Council meeting taking place in a remote format on 7 May.

Previous editions were held in Istanbul, Brussels, Marrakech, Toronto, Tokyo and Lisbon. Previous winners in 2010, 2013, 20152017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 include: CAA (Argentina), AANA (Australia), UBA Belgium, ABA (Brazil), ANDA Chile, CANA (China), ANDA Colombia, Marketing Finland, Union des marques (France), ISA (India), AAI (Ireland), UPA (Italy), JAA (Japan), GAM (Morocco), ANZA (New Zealand), ANFO (Norway), PAS (Pakistan), CAP (Paraguay), ANDA Peru, APAN (Portugal), SOZ (Slovenia), Sveriges Annonsörer (Sweden), RVD (Turkey), ISBA (UK) and ANA (US).
