Back to the overview
On January 28th, 2011, The Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA) officially launched a revitalized, rebranded organization. Active in the Philippine Advertising Board, and across the industry, PANA is aware of the quick pace that technology has entered the realm of their business, and has recognized the necessity of remaining relevant.
Therefore, PANA has taken the following steps:
Going Global
PANA became a member of the World Federation of Advertisers in 2008. In September last year, PANA hosted a low-key Asia Pacific conference of the WFA.
Reviewing its Code
The PANA Board reviewed their Code of Advertising and aligned it with the Marketing Code of the International Chamber of Commerce.
Modern, Proactive and Values-driven
Aligning with other Philippine AdBoard members like IMMAP, 4As and MSAP, PANA strengthened its ties with the other players in the industry, developing activities like PANA-IMMAP Digital Wednesdays, as well as PANA Brand Camp for young marketers. Launched in 2010, the PANA Brand Camp fielded the first Philippine representatives to the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival's 1st Young Marketers' competition. Team PANA won Silver. With its advocacy of youth development, PANA, through the PANA Foundation, centers its efforts on tapping the best from the academe, launching the 1st Youth Congress and holding the 11th IMC Competition in 2010. It also created the PANATA Awards, now on its second year, which honors values-driven integrated marketing communications productions.
