About DSA/DMA Task Force

DSA/DMA Task Force - About

WFA’s DSA/DMA task force brings together policy leads within WFA membership to discuss, plan and develop advocacy and outreach on the EU Digital Services Act and Digital Markets Act.

,

In 2022, the European Union adopted the Digital Services Act (DSA) and Digital Markets Act (DMA)  as part of the European Commission’s strategy on digital and data. These two legislations introduce new rules for online platforms, aiming to tackle illegal content, increase online advertising transparency, restrict targeted advertising, and create more competitive digital markets.

The purpose of the DSA/DMA Task Force is to discuss latest developments concerning the legislations, coordinate advocacy efforts and agree on next steps.

For everything we know so far about the DSA and DMA and how it could impact advertisers, please see our DSA and DMA one-pagers.

For an overview of the remaining questions on the new rules ahead of their implementation, please see our WFA Guide on DSA and DMA implementation.

This meeting is open to WFA members only.
