On 5-7 October WFA ran meetings in Singapore for its APAC based corporate contacts and its advertiser association members based in the region.

The Media & Marketing Network meeting brought together a number of regional media directors from our network and was Chaired by WFA's Asia-Pacific Regional VP (& VP of media for Unilever in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Turkey and Russia). Subjects covered included: capitalising on booming mobile communications, media KPIs, client-agency relations and media agency remuneration and transparency. Best practice sharing sessions were led by Unilever, Nokia, J&J and Castrol.

In parallel, the Marketing Sourcing Network brought together procurement specialists for a day of discussions around agency performance measurement, creative agency remuneration, global/local marketing procurement structures and the evolution of procurement organisational maturity. Diageo, J&J, Coca-Cola and Nestle all shared insights on their approaches through case-studies.

The meetings take place twice yearly and aim to reflect the priorities of global marketing and procurement contacts operating within the region.
