WFA holds Global Ad Summit in New York

On June 21st 2011, WFA hosted by invitation only the Global Advertising Summit in New York. The annual meeting brings together the main constituents of the global advertising industry, advertisers, agencies, media owners and technology enablers, to discuss the common challenges faced by the industry and to help align positions and strategies.

Discussions focused on digital privacy, and the development of self-regulatory industry programmes around online behavioural advertising in the US and the EU. Conclusions following the event will be sent to all participants shortly.
