On December 6, 2013, the Pakistan Advertisers Society (PAS) held its 16th Annual General Meeting in Karachi. The AGM was attended by all the major advertisers in Pakistan. The AGM also marked the end of two year tenure of the current Council and the Officers and the election of the new council for the term 2014-15.

The newly elected Council comprises of 12 members. Mr. Shabeeh A. Ikram, Country Manager, Johnson & Johnson was elected as the Chairman of the Society. Mr. Amir Paracha, Vice President-Sales, Unilever Pakistan and Mr. Khurram Masood Koraishy, General Manager, Sales and Marketing, Tapal Tea (Pvt.) Ltd. were elected as Vice Chairman and General Secretary respectively.

Other representative members on the Executive Council include Mr. Burhan Khan, Marketing Director, Reckitt Benckiser, Mr. Faisal Sabzwari, Country Manager, P&G, Mr. Aly Mustansir, CMO, Bank Alfalah, Mr. Umer Fareed, Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Burj Bank, Mr. Amir Paracha, VP-Sales, Unilever Pakistan, Ms. Maliha Subhani, Marketing Director, Pepsico, Mr. Abrar Hasan, CEO, National Foods, Ms. Samra Maqbool, Head of Media & Communications, Nestle Pakistan, Mr. Ali Murtaza, Director Brands, Mobilink and Mr. Ali Asghar Jamali, Director Sales and Marketing, Indus Motors.
