The Advertiser Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) held its 16th Annual General Meeting on May 23rd 2014 in Lagos – a 'Marketers Evening' that brought the Nigerian marketing community together to share ideas, network and socialize.
The 'Marketers Evening' helps to advance marketing decision-making by disseminating unique insights to ADVAN members by bringing together industry thought-leaders and leaders from Nigeria's marketing industry.
Members of ADVAN also re-elected Kola Oyeyemi as its President for another two years. To take ADVAN to the next level, Mr Oyeyemi said his executive council would work hand in hand with other sectoral bodies in the advertising industry. He said “under the new administration, we will work with the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) and other sectoral bodies to take advertising to the next level where it would compete favorably with players on the global scene”.
