Back to the overview
Following the success of the 2009 conference held in Rome, the Italian national association (UPA) will host the second International Summit on Communications. The Summit will be held at the Teatro Strehler in Milan on July 4 and 5 and will focus on the new media landscape that companies, agencies and consumers are now experiencing.
The Summit will address three main issues:
- The macroeconomic environment: we are living in a macroeconomic environment of unprecedented uncertainty. Almost all countries are facing some form of crisis, be it financial, economic or political. At this time, proper thought leadership is essential to overcome such crisis.
- The new media landscape: we have entered a new and changing media landscape, with increased level of complexity in communications. Consumer behaviour has become more ubiquitous than ever before. Understanding this is a big challenge.
- The business response: given the uncertain macroeconomic environment and the ever-changing media landscape, what are the responses from companies in terms of communications?
All sessions will feature international speakers. The summit is a commercial event, with a participation fee of 500€ + VAT for UPA members, and 600€ + VAT for non UPA members.
