Italian self-regulatory body launches campaign to increase awareness

The Italian self-regulatory body (IAP) has launched a new ad campaign in print, web and out of home in order to increase the awareness of the role of IAP as a resource for consumers to lodge their complaints about the content of advertising.

The IAP is a non-profit organization that blocks offensive, false, vulgar and violent advertising, and prevents further publication or broadcast in the media. IAP has been active in Italy since 1966, but is not sufficiently known by consumers as a place to lodge complaints.

The aim of the recently launched campaign is to spread and promote the knowledge of the services offered by IAP. It was conceived by New Projects in Milan, under the creative direction of Annamaria Testa.
