On November 21st, APAN held a seminar designed to increase understanding of new media habits in Portugal. This included a presentation of results of research commissioned by APAN and conducted by GfK Metris, highlighting differences in media habits of youngsters (15-24 years old) versus the rest of the population.
Headlining the event were Miguel Relvas, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, who spoke on media consumption in Portugal in light of the current social and economic context and Joel Postman, one of Portugal's most recognized experts in global brand communication and social media and author of the book “SocialCorp: Social Media Goes Corporate.”
Five panellists, aged between 15 and 24, also joined a panel session designed to shed light on youngsters' media habits. The panel was moderated by Nuno Markl, a famous Portuguese comedian.
