ACA presents 2013 Gold Medal Award

The ACA's annual Gold Medal Award, which was first presented 72 years ago, was awarded to Philip Donne, President of Campbell Company of Canada on May 30 during the 91st Marketing Awards ceremony.

The Gold Medal Award is the Canadian marketing industry's most prestigious honour. It is awarded to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of marketing communications in Canada. It is open to all individuals in activities that have an impact on marketing communications in Canada (client marketers, agencies, media, researchers, academics, associations, etc.), and is awarded to a candidate whose contribution represents a measurable, distinctive advancement in the practice of marketing communications in Canada.

Past recipients of this award include John Cassaday (Corus Entertainment), Alan Middleton (York University's School of Business), Sunni Boot (ZenithOptimedia), Frank Palmer (DDB Canada) and Claude Lessard (Cossette).
