Then this is for you. The Social Media Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day smooth execution of the global strategy for how Red Bull works with data across social media. They will work closely with internal stakeholders at Red Bull HQ in Austria and the markets to ensure efficient workflows and adherence to the global framework. Your role will see you shape how the teams at HQ use data for storytelling and strategy, helping the brand develop on the social platforms we already flourish on, while also providing guidance around those we should invest more time in. The Social Media Analyst will oversee how we report on data internally, best practice across our accounts, how we fair against the competition and how we use the reporting tools we have at our disposal.

ANALYZE AND GROW RED BULL’S SOCIAL CHANNELS & CONTENT
This role offers the perfect opportunity to dive into the digital world of Red Bull. You’ll be at the forefront of understanding how our content performs across our social media accounts, helping our global and country teams get the most from these platforms. You’ll be driven to tell the story behind our data in a captivating and easy to understand manner. This position will push you to analyze the Red Bull Media Network from both a product and content perspective.
DEVELOP OUR SOCIAL MEDIA OFFERING & UNCOVER EMERGING PLATFORMS
You’ll play a key part in supporting our social media team here at HQ with data-driven insights which inform and drive the strategy on our social accounts. Alongside this, you’ll research and develop analytics on emerging social platforms to help dictate and direct global business decisions.
DEEP-DIVE INTO ANALYTICS
You can be creative in concepting and executing ad hoc analysis. While reacting to the business needs is, of course essential, we recognize that the most impactful insights are derived from having the freedom to proactively explore ideas. The team also has plenty of opportunity to present this work to all relevant stakeholders to influence decision-making.
ENSURE WE GET THE MOST FROM OUR TOOLS
We have access to a number of platforms both internally and externally which allow us to better understand the performance of our social media content. Your expertise will help to shape what we do with this data and how we move forward within these tools, all while supporting our relevant stakeholders here at HQ, but also those within the markets too.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- Meaningful experience within marketing and social media, with a clear focus on data/analytics
- A strong working knowledge of social media and some associated analytics tools e.g., Sprinklr, as well as native reporting platforms of the social networks
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools e.g., Looker
- Passionate about data and storytelling, with a strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
- Sharp analytical skills, with the ability to extract and analyse raw data and draw conclusions
University degree or equivalent work experience
Fluent in English, any additional language is a plus
