Position Summary
Are you an eCommerce expert with a strategic mindset and a strong hands-on operational temperament?
The Nespresso eCommerce Manager is in charge of building the channel’s long-term strategy, its business development and operational planning ensuring the E2E optimization, efficiency and profitability of owned Digital Boutiques (nespresso.com B2C+B2B). He/She leads a structured eCommerce team and is accountable to deliver upon both sales and customer satisfaction targets and drives the day-to-day operations, according to the strategy he/she has defined, in close cooperation with the market's functions and channels' management (CRC, Retail, Trade, CRM, Marketing, Supply Chain, F&C, TQM, etc). He/She owns the digital path to purchase and the customer journeys from online New Members Acquisition to sales and retention.
A day in the life of a Nespresso E-commerce Manager
Define the local online strategy, assembling brand and relational initiatives, from traffic acquisition to conversion and retention, in close collaboration with all market's functions and channels, for both B2C/B2B.
Drive collaboration and establishes clear and effective ways of working with all key market stakeholders (Marketing, CRC, Supply, Finance, etc).
Actively participate in annual planning & monthly review process.
Strong collaboration with e-retail specialist (Trade Team). Provides advice, guidance & mentoring for local eRetailing initiatives (on both retailers.com and on pure players).
Proactively benchmarks in the industry and takes action to improve and sustain competitive advantage. Identifies interrelationships among facts and triggers relevant action.
Provide recommendation regarding online media strategy (in particular performance media activities) to reach online objectives.
Leads the eCommerce Operations and leads, develop and coach the e-Commerce team to deliver superior performance and results
Ensure the digital transformation of the organization
What Will Make You Successful
Minimum 8 years’ experience in E-commerce (previous E-commerce management experience mandatory)
Deep knowledge of digital trends & innovations and online business models.
Strong experience in Digital Marketing activities to drive traffic on websites (SEO, SEM, Affiliation, Display…).
Strong analytical skills. Strong Web Analytics knowledge (Google Analytics certification a plus) as well as of A/B testing and integrated Martech tools
Strong experience in eCommerce Operations (Content Management, eMerchandising & Personalization)
Previous People management experience mandatory. Strong leadership skills and talent development experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to create and deliver executive level presentations.
