In this role you will...

Supporting the MEA Analytics Lead in the creation and maintenance of BI solutions to drive MEA strategy including taking co-ownership of complex multi-layered data projects, partnering with tech teams to ensure deliveries, designing roadmaps, orchestrating data ingestion processes, data visualization and story-telling through large datasets and maintaining platforms,.
Act as an integral part of the MEA organisation, becoming a key advisor and business partner by putting the consumer, shopper and expert at the heart of all brand decision supported through the leveraging of analytics
Create and modify reports and dashboards across MEA to provide different teams with data & analytics to leverage in their decision-making process
Working with various 1P and 3P datasets of sell-in, sell-out, marketing ATL and BTL investment and activities– with full ownership of creation, quality assurance, testing, modification, and maintenance processes
Using a wide variety of datasets from 1P digital / financial data to 3P Nielsen Retail Measurement and IQVIA Pharmacy channel and Health Care Professionals data –experience with handling datasets with different granularity, frequency and details is a plus/
Partner with cross-functional MEA teams to understand their business needs, analyse work queue and establish priorities together with MEA Analytics Lead. Organise and clearly communicate insights and actionable recommendations to the team. Influence and inspire buy-in, drive action and impact. Translate insight and data from multiple sources into clear actionable recommendations which unlock growth and deliver incremental brand penetration
Being comfortable with ownership or market share and consumption forecasting from time-series modelling to multi-variate models including external macro-factors, developing interactive scenario planners and simulations.
Participate in building and designing the fit for purpose database objects and logic, data marts and/or reporting layer tables and views necessary for creating the dashboards

Qualifications

Prior experience in Analytical methodologies and analysis techniques and Power BI experience
Experience in working in a matrix structure
Ideally client -side exposure that brings the individual closer to actual business delivery and impact
Strong oral and written communication Skills and ability to influence peers/upwards
Prior experience with media & digital datasets and/or demand analytics is a plus
Prior experience with Nielsen RMS data is a plus
Demonstrate a strong understanding of commercial context, business problems/needs and opportunities for growth
Enjoy ‘rolling up your sleeves’ and seek out opportunities to gather data directly from customers/users and stakeholders
Highly collaborative, comfortable working across different functions and geographies
