WFA/CANA holds Global Advertiser Week in China

From April 11th-15th, WFA and the China Association of National Advertisers (CANA) co-hosted the 2011 Global Advertiser Week in Beijing, China. The showpiece event, the Global Advertiser Conference, brought together over 700 delegates, including 150 delegates from over 30 countries.
Conference speakers included Chris Burggraeve, Global CMO, Anheuser-Busch InBev & WFA President, Keith Weed, Global CMO, Unilever, Julia Goldin, Global CMO, Revlon, Liu Chuanzhi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Lenovo Group, Johan Jervøe, Vice-President, Sales and Marketing Group, Intel Corporation, Sha Yuejia, Vice-President, China Mobile, Stephen Kehoe, Head of International Corporate Relations, Visa, and Phillip Manzi, Director of global marketing operations, Nokia.
The week also featured internal WFA meetings, including the Annual General Meeting, Executive Committee meeting, National Associations Council, as well as a session hosted by MediaCom focused on “Unlocking the Potential of China,” in which global and local advertisers shared marketing insights and analysed in detail a number of China's unique characteristics.
