Over 20 national advertiser association representatives met in New York City on March 16th and exchanged experiences on event, conference and working group management. The meeting was led by National Association Council chair Mike Hughes (ISBA, UK). Ed McDonald (AAI, Ireland) spoke about past successes on driving engagement with members through seminars, Scott McClellan (AANA, Australia) informed the group on how the AANA runs marketing and advocacy committees, Ritva Hanski-Pitkäkoski (ML, Finland) provided a summary of working groups run this year and Joachim Schütz (OWM, Germany) described how OWM runs effective forums and conference management.

There were also discussions on best practice exchanges on delivering additional membership services. Gérard Noël (UDA, France) explained the various ways the UDA communicates internally with members and externally with the broader industry. Anders Ericson (SA, Sweden) described how the SA owns and runs online measurement systems in Sweden and delivers TV auditing services to members. Mario Davis (ANDA, Chile) detailed how ANDA has raised its profile through collaborating on and launching industry guides (using the example of a guide on Outdoor Advertising).
