Back to the overview
The WFA held MEDIAFORUM and SOURCINGFORUM meetings in Shanghai last week, receiving record attendance and positive feedback.
There were 65 attendees across the two meetings, including a cross-section of companies within WFA membership. As always, the meetings were hosted by WFA members, with Mondelez International opening their doors to the MEDIAFORUM and L'Oréal doing the same for the SOURCINGFORUM the following day.
A wide range of topics were covered across the meetings, including media agency management, digital media measurement and the third party ad serving environment in China. In the SOURCINGFORUM we focused on marketing supplier management, agency performance evaluation and a number of case studies highlighting insights and learnings from the frontline of marketing procurement.
Sessions were delivered by a mixture of guest presenters and WFA members keen to share insights from recent initiatives and campaigns.
Both meetings concentrated learnings on the China region but there were members in attendance with global roles who recognize the need to improve understanding of this key market and increase engagement with the clients and suppliers on the ground.
“The WFA meetings are a great platform to bring together many marketers to share best practice and understanding on key marketing topics in China”, commented a WFA member.
