France appoints Pierre-Jean Bozo as Director General

The French Advertiser Association (UDA) has appointed Pierre-Jean Bozo as its new Director General. Pierre-Jean will be taking over from Gérard Noël, Vice President Director General, who has headed up the UDA for 15 years.

Pierre-Jean will take over the reins of leadership as of October 1st 2013 and will be responsible for the management of UDA and its relationship with members. He will lead the 20 person strong UDA team to support its 300 member companies.

Pierre-Jean is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce, and is a qualified chartered accountant as well as a masters in tax law and a masters in economics. He began his career in Peat Marwick, which later merged with KPMG. He has also led severed media groups, including Socpresse, Libération and NRJ Group. In 2004, he took over the presidency of 20 Minutes, a French daily newspaper aimed at commuters in France, with a readership of over 2.3 million.
